Kaslo Community Garden Club is an active community gardening club. We are situated at the corner of A Avenue and Washington Street in Upper Kaslo. A portion of the garden is a produce growing area, providing food for Kaslo's Food Hub. There are several allotment garden plots available for use by residents of Kaslo and the surrounding area.

The Kaslo Community Garden Society would like to thank Lorene Archdekin and Lorraine Symmes for donating a load of manure. The manure was purchased from Erik and Andrew Matthews at “The Grange" - (composted Manure 250-366-4699). John Carlson from Kootenay Waste Management generously hauled the manure for free.

Thank you to Joanne Groff for her donation of a round straw bale for the Community Garden.

Charles De Pape was instrumental in helping us rebuild the Washington Avenue side of the fence this spring. He donated the use of his back hoe and time to accomplish this large task. Thank you Charles! And thanks to all our fence-builders: Tom Duchastel, Val Koenig, Ken Butt, Stu Heard, Rod Arnold, and Dana Gallinger.

Also, a big thank you to the Village of Kaslo for supplying us with loads of sawdust to be used for paths and mulch. All we have to do is pick up the phone and they bring it right to the garden! Much appreciated.
